Journey Home
Welcome! I’m so thankful to be able to share the Journey Home with you because this is one I have been traveling for the past several years. It began when, in real despair, I asked the Lord where to go to next. Instead of directing me to a specific place, He comforted me with the portions of scripture, songs, and images that I will be sharing with you. I did eventually leave the physical place of distress that I was in, but the journey out has proven to be much more important than any given destination. This is the very essence of Salvation: not merely getting in to heaven one day, but growing in relationship with the God who redeems all the things we walk through on our way to the promised happy end. So we will be looking closely at how God uses the points of pain and places of suffering throughout daily human life to reveal His intimate care and saving love. Please savor these emails, videos, pictures, and songs as food for thought, nourishment for the soul, moments of reflection, and a speaking for your heart. The journey, the process, the visions and wonder are our focus and main course, the very substance of life and joy of salvation.

Home is not a place you stay; it’s a place you continually return to for refreshment, cleansing, food, and rest. We are not meant to stay in a place, but to abide in His love. Once we are mature sons, we are sent forth as branches from the Vine to be fruitful as we live rooted in and outspread with His love.
