Statement of Faith

Be-Loved Resources are based on three pillars that are explained in the section after this more detailed statement of faith. Thank you for your interest in Be-Loved Resources!

One God

I believe that there is One God in three: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4 and Matthew 3:16-17) Each are eternally and fully God, and each reveals significant facets of the One. (John 16:13-14, John 14:6-7, John 14:9, John 17:25-26)

Jesus the Son

I believe that Jesus the Son, though completely God, came in flesh and blood, fully human, to live a sinless life and die on behalf of humanity so that whoever believes in Him will not die but have eternal life through Him. I believe that, since the Father, Son, and Spirit are One, Jesus came in complete oneness with the Father to save the world. He is not separate from the Father, but sent from the Father for the purpose of salvation. (John 3:16)

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:19) sent from the Father (John 14:26) to remind us of all Jesus said and guide us into all truth. He is the Comforter, Helper, Advocate, and Counselor who indwells believers in Jesus, leads from within, and transforms from the inside out. I believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8) with the evidence of praying in tongues (Acts 2:1–4), and in the nine gifts of the Spirit. (1 Corinthians 12:7–11)

The Word of God

I believe that the Bible, consisting of Old and New Testaments, is the unerring, infallible, eternal, authoritative, God-breathed, life-giving Word of God. And I believe that the Bible alone is the only true foundation for believers’ faith and practice. (2 Timothy 3:16–17)

Atonement and Salvation

I believe that God has always provided man with a means of atonement that was prefigured by animal sacrifices until the one, perfect, complete, ultimate sacrifice was offered by Jesus on the Cross. His death is the full and final atonement for sin (Hebrews 10:10), and His resurrection is proof that we have been accepted and justified by God through Him (Romans 4:25). Anyone who trusts in the grace of God demonstrated by Jesus’ sacrificial death and confesses their faith in Him is redeemed from sin, justified by faith, and born again into eternal, loving fellowship with God in all aspects. (Romans 10:9-10)
